Together We Can Make An Incredible Impact

The Exchange is an annual series dedicated to communicating the vision of Free Chapel. We are highlighting the impact and reach that takes place locally and globally because of the generosity of our people. We do many amazing things to inspire people to live for Jesus and with your help we will do even more.

Connecting
to the Church

Current Impact

Free Chapel strives to create spaces and places for people to have a true encounter with Jesus. We believe there is nothing like being part of a local church which is why it’s our passion to continue creating venues for worship. Currently, we have 5 campuses across the country. Our Orange County, California campus is our second largest campus in attendance and this past year with your support, we completed a much needed renovation of the campus that includes a beautifully updated exterior, outdoor baptism pool, and an additional 250 seats in the sanctuary. Our Spartanburg, SC campus is a shining light to the community that has reached thousands of people with God’s love. Our Gwinnett, Georgia campus is thriving and has been instrumental in helping launch our 5th campus, Buford, in January of 2017. The Buford Campus is already growing. The land for Buford’s permanent home, on prime real estate across from the Mall of Georgia, was purchased this year and we can’t wait to see what God will do there. In Gainesville, Georgia we have completed a beautiful renovation of our existing building as well as the construction of a brand new Chapel and amphitheatre.

Vision For the Future

The growth is exciting, but we’re not done yet. Together with your support, we believe we can reach further and give more people a chance to belong and find home. We are honored to announce plans for the launch of not one but two new campuses over the next year. We are excited about plans to launch a campus in the Cumming, Georgia area in the latter half of 2018. And most recently, we have amazing news on a long time dream of planting a church directly in the heart of Atlanta. We will soon be holding services in beautiful Midtown Atlanta at the Center Stage Theatre beginning in February of 2018. This state of the art facility is in the heart of midtown within reach of the nearly half a million people who live in the city. Together we can inspire more people to live for Jesus. Everything we do is about Him.

Connecting
to the World

Current Impact

Free Chapel is passionate about helping others. Because of you we are making incredible impact in our local communities and around the world. You help us supply 272,000 meals every month to the hungry in Haiti. Because of you, we are able to help foster children and victims of sex trafficking at the Dream Center in Los Angeles. We have helped build a church in the heart of Jerusalem, built housing for women and their children recovering from addiction at New Beginnings and helped orphans get a head start with a world class education in Ghana. There are over 60 serves teams at all our campuses, impacting thousands of people in our communities.

Vision For the Future

We now have an incredible opportunity to help a group of people close to God’s heart. One of the worst tragedies in human history, the Holocaust, ended more than 70 years ago. And while most of the world has moved on, today, there are over 190,000 Holocaust survivors still alive in Israel. More than 50,000 of those survivors are living in extreme poverty. We are partnering with Friends of Zion to build two assisted living facilities in Israel specifically for Holocaust victims. Most of these people don’t have living family members to care for them in their old age. We can provide these people with a safe place to live.

Connecting
to God

Current Impact

The mission of connecting people to God is the most important assignment we can pursue. At Free Chapel, one of the ways we feel led to make a difference is through training the next generation of leaders. Free Chapel College began in the fall of 2016 with the mission of developing leaders to make an impact for Christ in the world. With opportunities to receive regionally accredited degrees through Southeastern University, the college has doubled enrollment.

Our conferences for youth, couples and women continue to impact people from all around the world. We’ve been on broadcast television for over 25 years and are currently reaching a potential audience of 2.3 billion people every week, in 249 countries around the world. We’ve also begun to translate into Arabic for the first time on stations in the MIddle East, reaching places like Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Vision For the Future

Due to the overwhelming response of Free Chapel College, we want to make room for even more students. We are now dreaming about the possibility of building dorms to house these future leaders.

Also, because the Word of God is the only thing that will last, we have gathered over 30 years of content from Pastor Franklin to create a new Legacy Bible. This will be a resource that we can send around the world. Relevant messages and devotionals will bring God’s Word to light in a whole new way. We plan to release these Bibles in early 2018. We are going to reach out to all corners of the globe with the gospel. It’s the greatest mission, it’s the only mission that matters.
